Just a short 30-minute drive away is the beach, including Whitstable, with various villages offering unique gifts and heirloom trinkets.

Walks start from the front door.

Made from recycled timbers and offering stunning views across the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it’s hard to believe this cosy escape is less than two hours away from London. This truly unique holiday home sleeps two guests and has been constructed around an old tree on the grounds, which grows up through the treehouse. After making the ascent up the wooden staircase into the property, those staying are greeted by a cleverly designed space. Comfort has not been compromised, as guests are presented with a large double bed with luxurious linen and secure and sturdy windows keeping the interior lovely and warm - even when the weather outside is not. On the ground floor is a small cabin with a chemical toilet, while those staying can use the shower facilities in the main house. Surrounded by the fantastic Kent countryside, there really is an impression of blending inside and outside at Elham Treehouse and this can be further emphasised with the use of the charcoal barbecue which is provided.
