With easy access, the site itself is about 1 ½ acres, you will be greeted by a choice of sizeable grass pitches, which are all mostly on level ground. There are 9 electric hook up points (with a full capacity of 16 amps) located around the edge of the field, each separated by a small copse together with drinking water points, which are conveniently situated between these pitches. The area is entirely bordered by arable farm land and boasts ample space for family fun, freedom with time for relaxation to retreat and enjoy your stay. High Town House is set in a quiet and rural vicinity in the heart of Suffolk. We are surrounded by stunning towns and villages which offer bakers, butchers, post office, grocers, pubs and restaurants. Our peaceful and picturesque fishing lake is well stocked with mirror/common/crucian and ghost carp up to 20lb, tench, bream and perch. Nearby Attractions High Town House is ideally situated close to the beautiful market town of Bury St Edmunds and the historic villages of Lavenham and Long Melford, also Sudbury and Ipswich are close at hand. An hours drive will take you to the world renowned Heritage Coast, encompassing Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Dunwich, Walberswick and Southwold. Woodbridge and Cambridge are within 1 hours drive also. For those feeling a bit more daring we have a gliding club within walking distance of the camp site (Rattlesden airfield) and perfectly located for cycling.
