Padwick Farm was built in 1848 of lovely mottled pink sandstone. Leek Camping Barns accommodation was once the traditional cowsheds that until recently housed milking jersey cows. Offering an affordable escape from pitching a tent and the Great British weather. On the outskirts of the historic market town of Leek but opening onto beautiful views across open countryside to Bradnop and Morridge where you can enjoy your camping experience. Being on the edge of town you do get the best of both worlds – the countryside and the market town with real ale pubs, characterful independent shops, cafes and supermarkets to replenish your provisions. The Bottom barn sleeps 8 people (4 double bays) at £70pn and the Top barn 7 people (3 double and 1 single bays) at £60pn on wooden platforms with foam mattresses. Bring your own warm sleeping bags and pillows. Single night stays or more. Serendipity Shepherd Hut. An off grid hut for one or two people, minimum three nights. Please follow camping etiquette (no parties/events, noise or noisy guests, quiet between 11pm & 7am, no campfires after 11pm) and countryside code to enhance everyone’s stay. Rustic and basic for hardy campers who are prepared for all seasons .

  • Serendipity - Shepherd's Hut — For 1 or 2 guests. Double bed, access from each side. Warm quilt and extra blankets. No heating in the hut. Insulated hut with stable door. Some lighting provided by solar power (subject to availability). Outdoor fire pit for cooking and campingaz stove. Cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery. Toilet – eco-friendly compost toilet and rainwater sink. Shower cubicle with camping shower. Parking – off road Pets – allowed but you must bring your own bedding, see T & C’s
  • Top Barn - Group Booking — For up to 7 guests. Electric sockets – double sockets by each bay – metered*. Cooking facilities – electric cooker (metered). Fridge with freezer compartment. Cooking utensils, bucket and bowl. Outdoor fire pit. Water – Sink with cold mains water in dairy. Hot water heater over sink – electric meter*. Heating: Electric cooker will give off heat (metered). Small electric stove heater. There is no central heating. Eight Wooden Sleeping Platforms with foam mattresses for your sleeping bags. No linen provided. Pets welcome (see T&C’s). Parking – off road. Eco-friendly compost toilets separate to the barns, shared. Shower and sink with mains water in the Dairy. Electric light – yes, inside and out.
