Mullacott Farm

We are a family run farm, with many breeds of livestock, some of them being unusual or rare breeds. At the moment we have 30 Breeding ewes, a ram and some of last years lambs. We have polled Dorset sheep, a white sheep without horns. These lamb throughout the Winter and early Spring. Throughout the year we raise pigs to supply the farm with bacon and sausages, for the Bed and Breakfast and campers. We have kept various breeds, and there should hopefully always be some to see here. We currently have chicken and ducks, which all provide us with eggs, which are again available from the farmhouse. There are various breeds including Khaki Campbell and Aylesbury Ducks, Warrens, Rhode Island Red, Light Sussex, and Welbar hens. We also have geese and guinea fowl. The poultry have livestock guardians living with them in the form of our 5 Alpacas. These originated from South America, and have incredibly soft fleece. They are very good at chasing away the fox when he comes for a visit. Finally there are 3 horses, who are very friendly. We are taking bookings - see our opening dates below. Owners must clear up after them. • Ball games and kites encouraged • Bar-be-cues allowed • Family friendly camp site (no large single sex groups) We welcome Non-members of the Camping and Caravanning Club. We will let you have a taster stay, and give you the membership details, but you are under no obligation to join. You must be a member to stay in the electric hook up area. 30th March - 4th November, Adults are £6.00 and children £3.00 each. Electric hook up is £5 a night, with 2 adults minimum. ### Nearby Attractions Mullacott Farm is lucky to be in a region with so much to do. Those active souls amongst you might like to hire a bike and cycle the Tarka Trail. Others may prefer water sports, golf, walking, fishing or riding, all of which are well catered for. Close to Ilfracombe Tunnels Beach, for a fabulous family day out, or as a guest to one of the many weddings hosted there.
