  • Shepherd's Hut — The Shepherd’s huts were hand-built in traditional style and fitted out with a tastefully selected shabby chic interior. Each one is positioned with both visual and noise privacy affording a truly wild experience. Inside for comfort. Outside for wilderness. Stable doors allow the outside in so you can enjoy the quiet sounds of resident wildlife or changing light in the forest fading to a brilliant dark sky of glittering stars. The huts are specifically intended for couples and not suited for groups or children. They are indeed a space for Scottish romance. The rustic wood-burning stove inside assures warmth in the coolest of conditions and an opportunity to boil a traditional whistling kettle for a cuppa. A basket of dry hardwood for the wood burner is included. Everything needed to be fully self-contained is provided. Outside larch logs seating and our unique steel campfire pits that have a removable steel skillet are ideal for the perfect bbq.
  • Sleepy Hollow Bell Tent — The bell tents are impressive, sizeable structures made of canvas with one central pole some three metres high. They have large doors that can be left open to let the outside in or securely closed for a cosy, peaceful sleep. Six mesh windows allow for air to circulate if you are lucky enough to enjoy one of Scotland’s warmer days. Inside the bell tents, they are kitted out with comfortable mattresses with enough space to comfortably sleep seven adults. The wood burner can be left to smoulder through the night keeping everyone cosy with the soft crackle of the burning charcoal. Outside each bell tent, there is bench seating or logs that surround one of our rustic heavy-duty steel fire pits. The fire pits come complete with a steel griddle plate that can be removed. Ideal for cooking BBQ. Each bell tent is located on the backside of a ridgeline which breaks up the prevailing wind yet enables good airflow for optimal campfire smoke to disperse in one direction along with keeping the few famous midges that can be experienced at certain times of the year at bay. We have taken care to ensure the bell tents have reasonable spacing from each other for privacy and not to sprawl out too far from the shower and toilet amenities. Onsite we have a communal kitchen with warm water, gas cooking hob, washing up facilities and 2 rustic outdoor showers. Toilet & shower block. At reception, there is power available to charge devices along with free wifi if you have to get that digital fix. A small kiosk offers snack food and drinks along with some camping basics such as bug repellent, head torches, marshmallows, etc. Maximum stay 7 days. **What to Bring** Torches & lanterns Sleeping bag & bedding not included Cooking utensils, pot, pans, crockery or cutlery
