# The Green Frog Moffat

Opened in April 2012, The Green Frog in Moffat is a full day out where the whole family can spend time in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings of the Upper Annan Valley surrounded by the Moffat Hills. The current owners took over in 2020 and are continuing to develop and improve this wonderful location.

FISHING
Fishing for all the family - whether it be on our 4.5 acre spring fed lochan, with crystal clear waters (where the discerning fly-angler can see the fully-finned fish as well as trying to catch them) or in our smaller lochan, ideal for beginners, (or indeed experienced fishermen or women) who simply want to catch a trout for their supper! All equipment is available for hire if you haven’t packed your own and there are friendly staff on hand to give a helping hand to those trying fishing for the first time.

RELAXING
Perhaps by the very act of fishing – but perhaps also by simply enjoying wandering through our shop, café, small garden centre and childrens play area, or by enjoying a walk outside in the fresh air around Hammerlands itself.

ORGANIC GARDENING
The garden centre is stocked from April to October and with seasonal items outwith. Plants, shrubs, baskets and decorative pots are available
