High Grundon is a working agricultural farm one and a half miles from the picturesque village of Thornton Le Dale, in close proximity to a wide range of destinations for the active and the not so active, Dalby Forest (concerts, nature walks and lots more) , Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, Whitby, the old fishing villages of Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes make for a great day out, York (with the fabulous Minster and Jorvik viking centre, Museums and shopping centre) Malton, Eden Camp for a great experience of life during WW2, Flamingo Park Zoo and attractions are all close by with local fishing and golf courses. Goathland, of course famous as Aidensfield from TV's Heartbeat is well worth a trip, Pickering with its North Yorkshire Moor railway, swimming pool , Market and trout fishing lake. We are taking bookings - see our opening dates below.Our toilet and shower facilities will be open. s for tent pitches. A quiet level site newly offering good value and a friendly welcome.Family site children welcome. Electric hook ups ample water taps around the site. Chemical Disposal, new heated showers (nominal fee of £1 for 5 mins, to ensure plenty hot water for all) with toilets and a washing up area with hot and cold running water. Well behaved Dogs welcome. Please respect your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum in the evenings, No ball games after 9pm and no loud music after 10:30pm Thank You Please note if using a Sat Nav most will send you up Fox Lane when you are approaching along Thornton Lane.The entrance to High Grundon is opposite the start of Fox Lane.
