# Llama Lland > Nestled in the centre of the Cornish countryside only three miles from Truro, Llama Lland is set within our 140-acre farm. This farm has been in the Tripp family for over one hundred years. Established in 2001, Llama Lland is renowned for its quality and enjoyment factor. Due to the growing popularity in Llamas and being a one of a kind business in Cornwall, Llama Lland has become a sought-after attraction for those looking for a natural experience in the beautiful countryside. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere makes Penare Farm the perfect place for a peaceful walk with our Llamas. With the surrounding hills and amazing views your experience will be fun and enjoyable! Llama Land near Truro, nestled in the gorgeous Cornish countryside, is a place where dreams are fulfilled and memories are made. This is no ordinary day out. Tom Tripp (or Llama Tom as he's known locally) is running this 140 acre farm that has been in his family for over 100 years....and what a place he has made. Its not corporate, its not overdone, its a one-off, wonderful and totally personal experience that is an absolute must-do if you are staying in this part of Cornwall. From the outset you will be well looked after and shown some of the 52 (and growing) llamas that Tom has wandering happily in the fields. You will be taught how to handle the llamas correctly, find out bags of information about them and get to know them all - names and personalities - before (YES!) picking your own favourite to take on a walk around the picturesque meadows and woodland. If there's a new baby llama in the fold then Tom will make sure you get a peek and you can even hand feed some of the slightly older ones. All is done with the utmost respect and love for the llamas, and you will feel a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility from being around these fascinating creatures. After walking your llama, they get released back into the fields and you get released into the old barn for an excellent lunch - all beautifully laid out; proper place mats, old fashioned crockery - of sandwiches, cream tea and milkshakes for those who want it. It is all brilliantly done. So, make your Cornish holiday one to remember and visit Llama Land near Truro for a truly fabulous day out. You'll not meet a happier llama. - Type: Experience - Location: Truro, Cornwall, England - Area guide: [Truro](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/discover/regions/truro) - Booking: Not bookable online on HolidayFox; book direct on its website, https://www.llamalland.com/, or call +447999542463 - HTML page: https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-MVKhaSK9J7yl/llama-lland ## Activities - Children's Farms and Petting Zoos - Farm Activities - Sightseeing and Attractions - Experience ## Facilities - Food To Purchase Onsite ## Suitable for - Groups - People - Tweens (11-13) - Children or Kids (3-10) - Family - Teens (13+) - Couples - Solo - Schools - Backpackers - Retired - Students ## Nearby stays - [Summer Valley Touring Park, Cornwall](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-xAsbqiHjgXM4/summer-valley-touring-park-cornwall) - [Little Roseveth Bed and Breakfast](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-S8dY7Wc7je7r/little-roseveth-bed-and-breakfast) - [Callestock Courtyard Holiday Cottages](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-MVF9HxKPSHFQ/callestock-courtyard-holiday-cottages) - [The Alverton](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-3UNtiF63EoFV/the-alverton) - [County Arms](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-aBa9guL7-dBT/county-arms) All stays nearby: https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-MVKhaSK9J7yl/llama-lland/near-by-accommodations.md ## Nearby things to do - [Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-Nt3I2t0vvJ-S/healeys-cornish-cyder-farm) - [Truro 10 Pin Bowling Centre](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-x4lphZ0l4Dit/truro-10-pin-bowling-centre) - [Penrose Holiday Park](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-QPPIpRSUc1X2/penrose-holiday-park) - [ShelterBox Visitor Centre](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-Aoi9Oi8KLygC/shelter-box-visitor-centre) - [Player Ready Virtual Reality and Racing](https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-2kOjiqcTMD8b/player-ready-virtual-reality-and-racing) All things to do nearby: https://www.holidayfox.com/en/e/dest-MVKhaSK9J7yl/llama-lland/near-by-experiences.md ## Questions and answers ### Where is Llama Lland?
