Set on the sparkling shores of Lake Windermere, YMCA Lakeside is the perfect base from which to explore the Lake District National Park. We offer extensive secluded camping fields with conveniently located toilet and shower blocks and are open to all. You are welcome to come with your own tent and awning. Alternately please book one of our pre-erected tents. YMCA Lakeside is set in ancient woodland which you are free to explore. - If you'd like to make the most of our waterfront then we offer canoe and kayak hire. Our two counter served restaurants offer wholesome, hearty fayre and can accommodate most dietary requirements. We've played host to thousands of happy campers since we opened over 70 years ago.
