Toilets and showers not available on site. The campsite is situated off a peaceful lane with minimal passing traffic in the small hamlet of Chatcull and surrounded by beautiful countryside. This is largely an agricultural area and tractors make up most of the regular traffic. This is a sparsely populated area with other small village locations located a short distance away. Previously registered as an equestrian centre with 6 stables, a menage and 3 paddocks in total. Entry to the site is via electric gates which is only accessible with a key fob. These are available for all site visitors to use during their stay for a refundable cash deposit of £10. The site is reasonably priced and there is no additional charge for dogs, but they must be kept on a lead whilst walking around the site as two horses graze in one of the paddocks. Eccleshall is the nearest town which is just under 5 miles away and has a range of shops to meet most of your needs including a co-op supermarket, post office, butchers, fish and chip shop, take aways, and several pubs and cafes. There is also a veterinary practice and garden centre. The nearest pub is 3.3 miles away from Holly Tree Cottage. The nearest post office and general store is at Croxton just over a mile away which also sells fuel. This brand-new site offers hard standing pitches with generous space in between each one. Each pitch has its own electric hook up point, tap and drainage for grey water. There is also a grassy area without hook ups for tents. Drinking water taps can be found close by. For those of you who like cycling and walking there is plenty of opportunity to pursue this locally.
