A warm welcome awaits you at South Stroxworthy, a working family farm site, set in the beautiful rolling countryside of stunning North Devon. The site offers miles of uninterrupted views with South Dartmoor in the distance. We opened in Spring 2012 on over half an acre of level grass, with five fully serviced pitches inluding two with hardstanding. The level grass is ideal for up to ten tents. We have a single room shower and toilet cabin, and a small undercover utility area for dishwashing. The pitches are south facing, and catch the sun all day. Away from the main roads, and any light pollution the site is very quiet, and the night sky is truly breathtaking. Set deep in the countryside theres no shortage of wildlife. Woolsery village is only a half hour walk away, with a well stocked shop, chippy and pub, "The Farmers Arms", check it out. Within a few miles of the coastline and the coastal footpath its the perfect location for walkers and surfers alike. Open all year round, this site is a freedom camping certificated site, membership is free, but not required, everyone welcome. An adjoining Motorcaravanners club site. A level site with superb views across open countryside with 3 hard standings and five electric hook up points. Use of toilet and shower facilities and dishwashing area. Non members welcome.
