Suffolk is home to many wonderful towns with historical buildings and well-preserved medieval architecture as well as some of the prettiest villages with their chocolate-box thatched roof cottages. Not only is there the peace of the countryside, the cities of Norwich, Cambridge and London are within easy travelling distance. To make the hat-trick, you also have the coast a mere 40-60 minutes away by car or another hour or so takes you back in time to the north Norfolk coast.
