Wild Camping For a more old fashioned and wild camping experience, we have our pop-up campsite at a different location on the outskirts of the farm - Cheglinch Camping - which is open for a short time in the summer. We have fire pits, toilets and drinking water but no showers; this is a wonderful back to basics camping experience! Either bring your own tent or book one of our pre-pitched, unfurnished Lotus Belle Tents.

- Lotus Belle Tents — Hidden away in the North Devon countryside, a treat awaits. Only a short drive away from some of Devon’s most gorgeous sandy beaches is a family run dairy farm with some rather beautiful glamping accommodation. The owners have created an absolute oasis here; a small and secluded glamping site, set in a sheltered field with a small, seasonal stream meandering through. There are only three boutique Lotus belle tents - each which sleep four people very comfortably indeed - so you can be sure of a quiet and relaxing stay. (A small single mattress or travel cot can be provided for a 5th little person). Each tent is positioned in its own area of the field with a good sized outdoor seating area, a wood burning stove and a firepit - perfect for sitting around and keeping cosy in the evenings. There is a private outdoor kitchen area with a gas barbeque, cooking equipment and crockery, and each tent also has its own shower and toilet. Inside the belle tent, everything is made up and ready, with beautiful bedding, fairy lights and pretty furnishings…so you can just arrive, unpack and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The site is car-free (wheelbarrow your things in!) and off-grid, so kids can roam happily….and in the evenings, a lack of light pollution means beautifully starry skies. There is also a play barn, packed with activities and games to play, as well as dining tables and chairs, a fridge and other things to make your stay stress free. It is a wonderful place, a place to get away from it all, relax, unwind and appreciate all that is lovely about the outdoors. Cheglinch Farm is teeming with local wildlife, not to mention all the farm animals; you might be lucky enough to watch the new calves being fed, collect eggs from the chickens or meet the resident guinea pigs. And if you do want a day at the beach you are absolutely spoilt for choice here, with Ilfracombe just a few minutes drive away and the sandy shores of Woolacombe, the surf mecca of Croyde and Saunton also very close by. A fantastic glamping site in a beautiful part of Devon. Available on the Bell Tent are the following: 1 double bed, 2 singles and a pullout small single mattress or travel cot available on request.
