The farm is owned by ecologists couple, who are passionate about the outstanding wildlife the farm supports. Their priority is to conserve and enhance the farm for nature, and grazing livestock is integral to this goal. Managed organically (without the use of artificial pesticides, fertilisers and other chemicals), the grassland is grazed by a herd rare and endangered cattle, it is nestled within a private stretch of the idyllic Taw river within the truly enchanting valley full of wildlife, set in the beautiful North Devon countryside. Choose from camping next to the riverbank, listening to the trickling water and watch carefully to see the occasional otter, or in the meadows and watch the wild life with our resident pheasants and squirrels, listen to the morning chorus as the birds welcome in the morning, or camp in the woodlands as our two baby dear graze through the woodland. Traditionally managed, flower rich meadows bordered by dense berry and flower filled hedgerows and ancient woodland. The meadows are also home to the flock of laying hens, and their guardian cockerel to provide the most delicious organic eggs. Be inspired by nature, reconnect, be happy, sleep, fall in love. Turn off your phone and savour the quiet. Rise with the sun, marvel at the dawn chorus, awaken your senses and feel revived to back pedal, muse, and wonder. At dusk bats fly overhead and owls can be heard calling across the river, which itself is home to not only salmon, but warblers, curlews, egrets, otter, geese, ducks and swans.... This is responsible and sustainable farming and tourism at its best, limited guests and no overcrowding

- Meadow Pitches — Perfect for any holiday break, these are the main meadows some 25 acres of beautiful lush green meadows, with the occasional picnic bench and stunning views across the valley. Choose a spot and pitch-up mind the wild pheasant that potter around the field. Ideal for larger parties Remember this is eco rustic wild camping without any frills, but within a safe environment on a fully working farm. It gives you chance to be at one with nature and your surroundings. Children under 1 years old are included, 2 to 16 Years old, please add these on the extras after you have booked the adults on the next screen.
- Glamping Pod — A two room eco style glamping barrel with a double bedroom and the family area has a double sofa bed and small table and chairs, complete with outdoor bbq cooking area and picnic bench. The Eco Toilets and a Hot shower are a short walk from the Pod. Set main meadow which is around 30 acres has the Taw river surrounding its boundary. The Pod is 5 metres from the waters edge within the woodland, relax at the picnic table included and see and hear that beautiful relaxing sound. Battery lights inside, as its completely off grid.
- Riverside Pitches — The main meadow which is around 25 acres has the Taw river surrounding its boundary. The water is crystal clear and there are amazing areas where you can paddle and deeper areas to have a swim. These pitch-up areas are limited but all within 5 metres of the waters edge. Wild life ranges fro families of geese, ducks and the occasional swan, and occasionally you can see the odd salmon fish jumping out the river. Remember this is eco rustic wild camping without any frills, but within a safe environment on a fully working farm. It gives you chance to be at one with nature and your surroundings.
