Our park covers six acres and was started in the 60’s by my father, Gwynn who ran it with my mother Beatrice until they retired. Although they have now passed the park onto us, they still keep an active interest in all that’s happening and love chatting with old friends! We have 57 well-spaced static caravan pitches with holiday homes for sale and two to hire on a weekly or weekend basis. There is a separate field for touring caravans and tents and the park is full of character with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Children are welcome to bring their bikes and they’ll also enjoy the large, open grass play areas – the touring field has seen many a round of cricket and bowls in its time! We are only half a mile away from Devil’s Bridge and two miles from Ponterwyd where you will find a post office, garage, camp shop, bistro and take-away service! There are many inns and pubs in the surrounding area serving great bar meals and the town of Aberystwyth is only twenty minutes away by car. It’s a great area for outdoor activities, especially for mountain biking, fishing, walking and golf to name but a few. Or perhaps you fancy a day at one of the lovely coastal towns of Aberaeron, Aberdovey or New Quay where you can wander the many historical streets and lanes or spend a day at the beach at Borth or YnysLas. You may even spot the famous Cardigan Bay dolphins! Popular visitor hot spots are the Devil’s Bridge waterfalls of course, Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre and the famous Vale of Rheidol steam railway which travels through the picturesque countryside from Devil’s Bridge to Aberystwyth.
