Stockbridge View Campsite

Stockbridge, Test Valley, England

Welcome to Stockbridge View! We have now been accepted by the Freedom Camping Club so we will be open until October 1st. As well as tents we are allowed 5 caravans or campers. We are a farm campsite and provide basic facilities, composting loos gas- powered showers and washing up sink as we have no electricity on site. There are no marked pitches, but plenty of room to go where you like in the field. We are half a mile along a quiet footpath to the Town of Stockbridge. The site is surrounded by byways and footpaths. Firepits and BBQs are welcome as long as they don't kill the grass. Nearby Attractions We are a ten to fifteen minute walk to the town of Stockbridge, with its many shops, pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops. There is a CO-OP, and a Kebab van in the evenings. By car we are about a half hours drive from Salisbury and Winchester. Fairly local attractions include Stonehenge, Paultons Park, Mottisfont Abbey, The Army Flying Museum, Houghton Lodge, and The New Forest and the South Coast. There are many good country pubs within a walk or cycle ride, a good one is The John O'Gaunt, at Horsebridge, which is situated on a foot/cycle path on a disused railway.
