Havergate Island this area that is tiny the River Ore is fabled for its breeding avocets and terns, that may usually be observed during springtime and summer time. To simply help with this there are 5 hides and a viewing screen set up in key bird areas that are friendly. The area provides a haven for many ducks and wading birds which make a chilly trip on the boat all worth while in autumn and cold temperatures. Havergate is also a spot that is excellent see brown hares at close range too! Access is by watercraft only additionally the ship day at you're aided by the island really feel you're getting away from all of it.
