Accommodation types
- Caledonian Glamping — As an alternative to bed and breakfast, Alistair has designed and built unique timber-framed eco microlodges for a self-catering /glamping option.
Constructed from sustainable, local timber which has been milled onsite with our own sawmill, the microlodges are small, sturdy cabins set within a wild meadow next to our house.
They are very comfortable and can accommodate up to 3 people. As they have their own heating and are well insulated we can let them out year round. Parking is available next to each microlodge.
Each microlodge contains:
2 single beds with proper mattresses
A fold down sofa bed
A mini kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge + sink
en-suite shower/toilet facilities
heating
Towels and bedding.
