Caledonian Glamping at Westward Unique sturdy, self-built timber framed mini cabins with en-suite facilites. Located in the small rural village of Cannich, in the Scottish Highlands at the gateway to the spectacular national Nature Reserve of Glen Affric. A perfect self-catering glamping base from which to explore the surrounding Glens.

  • Caledonian Glamping — As an alternative to bed and breakfast, Alistair has designed and built unique timber-framed eco microlodges for a self-catering /glamping option. Constructed from sustainable, local timber which has been milled onsite with our own sawmill, the microlodges are small, sturdy cabins set within a wild meadow next to our house. They are very comfortable and can accommodate up to 3 people. As they have their own heating and are well insulated we can let them out year round. Parking is available next to each microlodge. Each microlodge contains: 2 single beds with proper mattresses A fold down sofa bed A mini kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge + sink en-suite shower/toilet facilities heating Towels and bedding.
