The Alders Caravan Park offers visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our woodland, water meadow with wild flowers and animals, and woodland walks all combine to offer the discerning and nature loving visitor an idyllic environment in which to stay. combine to offer the discerning and nature loving visitor an idyllic environment in which to stay Our Pods are located in their own landscaped and car free area (Wharfedale) with plenty of space and privacy. Pods offer visitors the freedom and ambience of traditional camping whilst giving you a higher level of privacy and security and more comfort both inside and out. We have two Standard sized Pods (suitable for max 2 adults and 2 children) and three Family sized Pods which sleep 4 adults. We have installed a separate eco-toilet within the Wharfedale area for those night time emergencies. There's also a spacious covered area for BBQs or just chilling in the shade Nearby Attractions The Alders is a conveniently placed site from which to visit York, Helmsley, Harrogate, Ripon Northallerton, the delightful North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and Heritage coastline which includes Scarborough and Whitby. There is a well equipped playground in the village and visitors are welcome to support the local village cricketers as they play on the village cricket field which is overlooked by the Alders Caravan Park.
