Set in 13 acres of calm countryside and mature gardens our one, two and three bedroomed cottages surround the farm that is old, sleeping from 2 - 6 people. A short walk throughout the industries joins the South West seaside footpath, passing through the unspoilt, picturesque Mullion cove and magnificent ocean views. Polurrian cove, simply half a mile away, with a beach that is sandy is safe for swimming and searching, since are many of the coves in the Lizard peninsula, a designated Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty. Mullion is a thriving village with two pubs, restaurants, Post Office, supermarkets, chemist, art gallery and craft centre where delicious chocolates are built. Our one, two and three bedroomed cottages are extremely well equipped, each along with their yard that is own area. We've a heated swimming that is outdoor and games room; whilst nearby is an 18 gap course and riding stables; and within 20 kilometers, numerous wonderful gardens to go to.'An perfect place for family members holiday breaks, great for walkers and garden fans.' Our cottages range from one to three bedrooms and accommodate up to six guests. They are fully equipped, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. All guests are given the warmest of welcomes and we’ll do everything we can to ensure your visit to West Cornwall is enjoyable. Dogs are welcome in most of our cottages. There’s a large dog exercise area and your four-legged friend might even find some treats waiting for them on arrival. The pool area is surrounded by plants and flowers, making it a lovely suntrap and the perfect place to sit back and relax. Open between 9-6, the pool is accessed via a combination-locked gate, keeping it secure from children when unattended.
Accommodation types
- Byre Cottage — Three bedroom Byre Cottage sleeps up to six guests and includes a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Entering from the hallway you’ll find the family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen/living room and three bedrooms, the master bedroom has a double bed, with an additional twin room and a single room which also has space for a put-up bed if required. A door from the kitchen opens directly onto the paddock where you’ll find a picnic table, bench and BBQ – the perfect setting for alfresco dining. Parking available directly outside.
- Sty Cottage — The Sty is a beautiful spacious light-filled cottage. The front door opens onto a hallway off which is a bathroom (with bath and shower) and an open living room/kitchen. The living room provides a comfortable place to relax with two and three-seat sofas around a coal-effect fire. The master bedroom has a king-size bed while the second bedroom has two single beds. Both rooms are spacious with room for a travel cot.
- Gweal Cottage — The Gweal was recently refurbished to provide extra comfort for our guests. The cottage floor is tiled throughout, except for the bedrooms. The living room has been refurnished with dining table and chairs and a smart TV system for your entertainment. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a dishwasher. The master bedroom features a king-size bed whilst the twin bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms include plenty of storage space. The bathroom has a bath/shower, as well as a heated towel rail and bathroom heater for your comfort. The terraced garden has steps leading to it and has a fuchsia hedge surrounding it, creating a very private place. The garden contains a picnic bench and bench seat, perfect for those summer BBQs, which we supply.
- Smoke House — A cosy retreat ideal for couples. Three steps lead down to a small patio area with a table and chairs. French windows open into a fully equipped kitchen and living room. There is one double bedroom and a bathroom. The Smoke House is tiled throughout making it ideal for one dog.
- Forge Cottage — The Forge is a characterful cottage that is perfect for holidaying all year round. The front door opens into the fully equipped kitchen that leads into the living/dining area. This includes a three-piece suite, a dresser, coal-effect fire, dining table and chairs. There is also a smart TV for your entertainment. The two bedrooms include a master with king-size bed and a twin room with two single beds. There are tiled floors throughout, except for carpeted bedrooms. At the rear of the cottage is a paved patio and garden – quite private and surrounded by a fuchsia hedge and shrubs. Tables, chairs and BBQs are provided.
- Wheal Dream — A cosy cottage with one double bedroom and a bathroom. There is room for a travel cot. French windows open onto a sunny courtyard with table and chairs.
- Stable Cottage — The Stable is a spacious, two-bedroom cottage surrounded by a hedge and shrubs. A small garden to the front of the cottage has a paved path leading to the front door that opens onto the entrance hall. The living room has large windows that fill the room with light and is equipped with two comfortable leather sofas, dining table and chairs and TV/DVD system. The living room also has an electric, coal effect fire. The family bathroom comes with a bath/shower, heated towel rail and bathroom heater. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, with space for a travel cot. The second bedroom is a twin with two comfortable, single beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and light. At the front of the cottage is a garden, with a table and bench, ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee and a book or enjoying an evening BBQ.
- Dairy Cottage — Enter Dairy Cottage through the kitchen into the living area where windows on three sides fill the room with light. There is a two-seater sofa and an armchair. A passage leads to the master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with twin beds, and the family bathroom. There is a garden with a picnic table and extra bench seats – perfect for enjoying a sunny evening.
- Loft Cottage — The Loft is one of our more traditional cottages, with dark furniture, a dresser with pretty plates and a red three-piece suite. The double aspect living room, with adjacent kitchen is tiled, as is the rest of the cottage (except for carpeted bedrooms). There are two bedrooms – one with a king-size bed and the second with twin beds. Both the bedrooms have a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps and the master bedroom also has a radio alarm clock, sewing kit and hair dryer. The family bathroom has a bath/shower, heated towel rail and heater. Parking is right outside the cottage with a paved path to the front door. A hedge of Elaeagnus and shrubs surround your private garden, the picnic table and bench seat.
- Smithy Cottage — Tucked away in a corner below the swimming pool, Smithy Cottage provides accommodation for up to six guests. The spacious open plan living room, and fully equipped kitchen has a dining table and chairs, comfortable seating, TV/DVD system and coal effect electric fire. The light-filled master bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom. A second bedroom has twin single beds and a third bedroom has a single guest bed and a small pull-out bed suitable for children only. A path leads to Smithy Cottage through the private sheltered garden with table and chairs.
- Granary Cottage — The spacious Granary Cottage has accommodation over two floors and was part of the main farmhouse dating back to 1840. The front door opens on to a tiled lobby off which is a cloakroom with shower, toilet and basin. Ahead you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen. A hallway leads to the living/dining room with Victorian tiled and wooden floors. There is a dining table and chairs, two sofas, a tub chair, large Smart TV and electric coal effect fire. Upstairs is a master bedroom with double bed and hand basin, a second bedroom with a zip bed – which can be made into two singles or a king-size depending on requirements and a third twin bedroom. The garden area to the right of the front door has a round picnic table and an additional bench providing a relaxing outdoors space.
- Barn Cottage — Barn Cottage sleeps up to five guests in three bedrooms. On the ground floor you’ll find the kitchen, bathroom and a feature archway leading to the light-filled living room. From the living room stairs lead to the three bedrooms; one king-size, one twin and one single. From the kitchen you can access a suntrap patio area with a picnic table and extra bench. Surrounded by apple trees and buddleia this is the perfect setting for a BBQ.
