# The Gate Lodge Certificated Site

The Gate Lodge Campsite is a Members Only small peaceful, rural Idyl in The Weald of Kent Countryside that is open all year round. Please note we are a STRICTLY ADULTS ONLY campsite.

All Motor homes and RVS are welcome. We also have 'wild camping' areas for tents in our rustic woodland setting. We have eleven hook ups, 9 hardstands with roads.
A converted stable block houses the toilets and showers and an outside sheltered washing up facility is there for your convenience.

Kent is known as The Garden of England. a place where Apples, Cherries, Strawberries and Hops are still grown today.

Our campsite is situated just under 2 miles from the beautiful market town of Tenterden, known as The Jewel of the Weald.

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our site, which is in a woodland setting by the side of a small lake, full of large Carp. It is a haven for wildlife and birds including Nightingales, Woodpeckers, Tree Creepers, Finches and many more. Dungeness and Rye Harbour Nature reserves are frequently visited from our site.

Our visitors also enjoy the close proximity to many fabulous National Trust properties whilst staying at The Gate Lodge.

Our woodland is filled with Bluebells and Daffodils during the Spring and is a cooling relaxing haven in the sultry Summer months. Enjoy our woodland walk during your stay.
Dogs are more than welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

We are members of the Camping and Caravanning Club and have many favourable reviews.

Please view our gallery page for more photographs of our campsite.

Please see our contact page for our phone number and address.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Gate Lodge campsite.

Kind regards

Penny & Richard
