Hill Farm campsite is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Chiltern Hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty If you are looking for simple relaxation, lovely countryside walks or an active cycling break, Hill Farm Campsite is a location that can offer it all. The small 0.5-acre campsite is set in the countryside, by Wendover Woods, it is quite possible to see a wide variety of wildlife from roe deer, muntjac deer, red kite, buzzards and in the month of June the swallows fly around!! The main campsite is on a 0.5% slope, caravans and motorhomes, please bring blocks. There is a dedicated tent paddock for campers with several flatter areas. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and please clean up after your dog, promptly. The site is open all year - We are located at one of the highest points in the the Chiltern Hills. The weather in winter can be very chilly and windy so wrap up warm! Enjoy this beautiful time of year when the landscape takes on a new look as autumn turns into winter. We have 3 different sized pre-pitched tents available...they all tents come with camp beds and an outside table and camping chairs x 4 If you fancy pure luxury, why not try our beautiful 5/6m bell tents, we aim to take the hassle out of camping by supplying everything you need for a relaxing, elegant, and comfortable camping experience. We'll do all the hard work so you can sit back and relax - in style. **Nearby Attractions** Hill Farm Campsite is located on the top of Aston Hill and has great access to Wendover Woods running to the rear of the site - There are many lovely walks, bird watching, den building, children's park, Nordic Walking, Picnics and barbecues, Gruffalo Orienteering & Spotters Trail, - Family cycle trail, Orienteering, running, walking, fitness trails and a lovely cafe. **Go Ape Tree Top Adventure** - For the thrill seekers, there is GoAPE - STAY WITH US and receive 10% discount at Go Ape Wendover Woods (HFC19) - not valid on saturdays. **Aston Hill Bike Park.** Wendover has some lovely pubs and cafes, youll find a museum and gallery, antiques and craft shops. Green Park is an activity centre set in 80 acres of beautiful, mature woodland near Aston Clinton. Book a family adventure

Accommodation types

  • Pre-Pitched Tent (Acorn) — Love camping and being outside in the countryside, but hate the hassle of putting up a tent, packing it away and drying it out afterwards…. why not try our Pre-pitched Tent. You simply turn up and start enjoying the change of scenery and some quality time. We have 3 Acorn pre-pitched tents available… they come with camp beds, an outside table and camping chairs. This 6-person tent will comfortably sleep 4 on camp beds or sleeps 5 using the children’s camping bunk bed. The Vango Stargrove has a cool and roomy double section living area and a closed in front awning. Spacious and plenty of room for a family. Check-in from 2pm / Check-out by 11am Price starts from £60 per night ( this included 2 adults and 2 children & campsite fees ) We ask for a £100 refundable security deposit, this will be added to your final payment at the checkout and returned 3 days after your stay. Please make a bank transfer / BACS for the total amount after receiving your booking confirmation email. We regret that pets are not permitted in our pre-pitched tents.   • 5m Bell Tent (Whiteleaf) — Our luxury bell tents aim to take the hassle out of camping by supplying everything you need for a relaxing, elegant, and comfortable camping experience. We’ll do all the hard work so you can sit back and relax – in style. 5m bell tent has tasteful chandelier lighting, hurricane lanterns on each bedside table and a mirror. A double bed with a cosy memory foam mattress, two comfy futon sofa bed/chairs make a great night sleep for a family of four. All linen provided , extra blankets and hot water bottles. Each tent comes with all your essential kitchenware… kettle, saucepan, frying pan, kitchen utensils, BBQ tongs, knife, glasses, mugs, plates, bowls and cutlery, cheese grater, can opener, bottle opener (the most important one!), tea towels, kitchen roll, antibacterial spray, hand sanitiser, washing up bowl with sponge and washing up liquid. - Cool box with ice packs ( a bag of ice can be purchase onsite – £2 per bag ) - 12L water container - Towel rail with fresh bath and hand towels for all guests - A vintage storage trunk - Warm and soft floor rugs & welcome mat - Wind up torch for those night-time trips to the loo - BBQ / Fire pit with camping chairs for those cosy nights around the fire (a complementary bags of logs, coal, kindling, firelighters and matches are included – extra logs / coal can be purchased onsite).   • Grass Caravan Pitch — Separate caravan paddock with evenly spaced pitches. The site has one chemical toilet disposal point, recycling and waste area and a fresh water drinking tap. The main campsite is on a 0.5% slope, caravans and motorhomes, please bring blocks. Please note: Gentle slope. Adv bkg ess. 3 x separate toilets with a power shower (all kept very clean). The power showers are operated with a token. The hot water will run for 5 minutes. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the site and all foul must be picked up.
  • Hardstanding Caravan Pitch — Separate caravan paddock with evenly spaced pitches. The site has one chemical toilet disposal point, recycling and waste area and a fresh water drinking tap.   • Tent Pitch — Separate tent paddock with space for 10 tents. Check-in from 2pm / Check-out by 11am There is a cold drinking water tap within the tent field. Trailer with sink for dishwashing with hot water, a kettle (tea and coffee for the Ridgeway walkers) and a power socket. 3 x separate toilets with a power shower (all kept very clean). The power showers are operated with a token. The hot water will run for 5 minutes and then turn off. FIRE PITS/BARBEQUE & LOGS Please note that for safety, we do not permit guests to bring their own fire pits and logs onto our campsite. All these items can be hired in advance when completing the booking form or upon arrival subject to availability. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the site and all foul must be picked up. Hard ground tent pegs recommended. We’re at the top of the hill so some days can be a little windy! (Check the winds before you arrive )
  • Pre-Pitched Tent (Chesnut) — Love camping and being outside in the countryside, but hate the hassle of putting up a tent, packing it away and drying it out afterwards…. why not try our Pre-pitched Tent. You simply turn up and start enjoying the change of scenery and some quality time. The Chestnut pre-pitched tent comes with camp beds and an outside table and camping chairs. This 8-man tent sleeps 6 people on comfy camp beds (or a family of 7 when using the children’s camping bunk bed). It’s pure extravaganza – the living area is just under 4 metres, some much space you’ll feel like you’re at home! The sleeping area can be split into 4 separate rooms or the side room can be used for storage, giving you lots more space. We regret that pets are not permitted in our pre-pitched tents.
