Smithy Caravan Park is set in landscaped grounds and bordered by the River Severn and the Shropshire Union Canal in the scenic countryside of Mid Wales. Our beautiful park has been awarded a Visit Wales 5 Star Grading. We have 60 privately owned caravan holiday homes, but the touring area is separate and has the added benefit of being closest to the river with the best views and a small picnic and seating area on the bank. This area has 26 fully serviced hard standing pitches (13A electricity, drinking water, grey waste and satellite TV hook-ups). A timber chalet with steps and ramp access is discreetly situated at the end of the touring area, and provides all the sanitary facilities required including a wet room for families and the less able, baby changing facilities, a coin operated laundry, and chemical disposal point. This well run site has resident wardens and is one of the Bestparks group of Holiday Home & Touring Parks ensuring a warm welcome and a pleasant stay.
