In the beautiful and picturesque countryside of **North Yorkshire**, hidden away in a lovely secluded spot, is **Studley House Farm**. Here you will find an exclusively **adults only** Caravan Park; a small and lovely site with space for only eight touring vehicles, set out in the old apple orchard. You are assured of a very warm Yorkshire welcome here; the freshly cut grass is beautifully maintained and there is lots of space to relax on the well tended, immaculately kept grounds. If you do not have a caravan or motorhome, then there are also two delightful and well equipped **holiday cottages** available for rent, and an excellent **Bed & Breakfast** too. **Studley House Farm** is a lovely and peaceful place and guests who stay here rate it incredibly highly, often coming back to visit again and again. If you do manage to bag one of the eight pitches, then you can make use of the excellent facilities here, including free wifi, showers, toilets, hot and cold water, chemical disposal point and a washing machine and tumble dryer. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. The views from the campsite are gorgeous, looking right out over the countryside, and all the hardstanding pitches are large, level and well maintained. **Dogs are very welcome here** and there are plenty of **excellent walks** nearby to keep your four legged friends happy. Studley House Farm is situated in the historic village of **Ebberston**, a pretty village with a church dating back to the Norman times, a 17th Century Hall and an excellent pub - the Grapes Inn - worth a trip to sample the delicious home cooked meals and local ales. To the north of the village is **Chafer Wood**, a pretty nature reserve and a great place for a stroll and to spot the abundant flora and fauna which is protected here by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. The view from the top of the wood down to **Pickering Vale** is stunning. The location of Studley House Farm is also absolutely ideal for exploring further afield around some of North Yorkshire’s most stunning countryside. The **North York Moors** **National Park** is right on your doorstep here; a magical place with endless walking and cycling trails, wildflowers, plenty of wildlife, ancient woodlands and acres of **heather** **moorland**, it is a spectacular place to visit. Aside from the wild landscapes inland, there are many lovely coastal towns to visit; the bustling town of **Scarbrough** is 20 minutes away by car, the pretty seaside town of **Whitby** and the picturesque **Robins Hoods Bay** are also close by. The nearby market town of **Pickering** is great for shopping and has a good market every Monday. For a family day out, Go Ape is a few miles away or for something less wild, visit Betton Farm; a working honey farm with a petting zoo. However you spend your holiday at Studley House Farm, you can be assured of a very peaceful and relaxing time in a beautiful part of England.

  • Tranquil caravan site — Our caravan park is on the site of the old apple orchard which is beautifully kept for eight touring caravans. The ground is level and the grass always freshly cut. The site is secluded and surrounded with lovely views. Exclusively for adults who enjoy the peace and quiet. Our season runs from 1 March - 31 October. During busy periods of the season, a minimum 3 night stay is sometimes required. Please contact us to confirm your dates if you would like a shorter break.
  • Cow pasture cottage — This luxury cottage, converted from a former milking parlour, has been expertly modernised by local craftsmen. It is designed for four guests with one double and one twin bedroom, and has a fully equipped bathroom with washbasin, toilet, shower over the bath and shaver point. The lounge/dining room is furnished in a traditional style, with a brick and timber fireplace, a three piece suite, dining table and chairs, and is heated by an 'open' gas fire and storage heaters. The well-fitted kitchen has ample storage, as well as a full-size electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and all the other little essentials that you would expect to find. All the rooms are on one level and would also suit the partially disabled.
  • Swallowtail tail cottage — This luxury one-bedroom cottage sleeps two people in either two singles or one huge superking bed. There is also an en-suite bathroom with shower over. As well as a comfortable suite, the lounge has a beamed ceiling, polished timber floors and an imposing stone fire surround. There is also a colour television and DVD player, and the cottage is heated by a stove-style gas fire and gas fired central heating. The quality fitted kitchen has ample storage and is equipped with a washer/drier, fridge/freezer, full-size cooker, dishwasher, microwave and a separate additional toilet. All the accommodation at Swallowtail cottage is on ground floor level with wheelchair access, and the property is graded NAS Hearing 1 and NAS Mobility 2, so the cottage is ideal for those who are less mobile or hard of hearing, as well as for the young and agile.
