Juniper Hill is located on the main Portrush to Portstewart Road (A2) between these two popular seaside resorts. This family friendly site commands an excellent location from which to explore Portstewart with its shops, cafes, restaurants and many tempting ice cream shops. Ballyreagh Golf Course is within 200 metres, with the main courses in Portrush and Portstewart a short drive away. There is both pedestrian and cycle path access into Portstewart and a regular, scheduled bus service adjacent to the site entrance, to Portrush and Portstewart. The site is situated on the Causeway Coast Way, long distance walking route, with popular stretches of walking within easy access of the site. Please Note: In previous years pitches and bookings were only confirmed once payment has been processed. This year we've made a change to our booking system which means that once you select a pitch it will be held for 20 minutes to allow you to complete your details and make payment. If the time expires or you perform a new search the pitch previously held will be released. Opening Dates The caravan park was scheduled to open on the 17th March and to close on the 31st October, but this is subject to instruction from the NI Executive with regard to Covid-19 restrictions. The Park Warden will be able to advise how these instructions may affect bookings. Booking Arrangements Online booking is now available. Tent bookings can no longer be made online, please contact the park directly to check availability and make a booking. Please note: Full payment is required at the time of booking. Facilities 80 Touring Caravan pitches with electric hook up (online booking) 7 Tent pitches (book by telephone only) Touring and Camping Advance booking is essential particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August. Full contact details, including contact telephone number and vehicle registration will be required and payment must be received in full. Multiple bookings cannot be made by the same customer for bookings on the same dates. You can use the park site map to view the location of available pitches before making your choice. Please note that six is the maximum number of occupants permitted per pitch. Please note that only one tent, caravan or motorhome is permitted per pitch at any one time and only 1 other additional structure such as an awning. You confirm your acceptance of the Park Rules by completing a booking. Pets A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome on the park if kept on a leash at all times. Check In You are not to arrive before 3pm and your pitch must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Arrivals after 8pm cannot be guaranteed entry. On arrival and departure we cannot accommodate parking in the car park due to limited space.
