Experience the luxury, comfort and style in our cosy chalet-style house with large ensuite rooms. We have three spacious rooms which can be made up of super king-size double beds or luxury twin beds. Each room has a modern flat-screen TV, Freesat TV channels and a DVD/Blu-ray are free to borrow. For your comfort and convenience, there is a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in your room. Free WiFi is available throughout the house. We are ideally located to visit many Speyside Whisky distilleries and explore the local history and heritage of the region. With so many activities like wildlife exploring, fishing, golf and skiing the opportunities for getting out and about are endless. Enjoy the many bike trails in the area. We are situated only 8 miles from The Coffee Still Café which is a popular rendezvous for people riding the new Glenlivet Estate Mountain Bike Trails. We can offer secure bike storage & bike wash facilities. Castles & Houses – Aberdeenshire, home to the only Scottish Castle Trail. The trail consists of 14 castles, from the rugged splendour of Kildrummy Castle to the romantic ruins of Huntly Castle approx 25 miles from Thistle Dhu. Balvenie Castle is 15 miles.

- Capercaillie — A large room containing a super king double or twin beds. The only sound to be heard at night are the owls. The view is of the Hamlet of Auchbreck which is very picturesque & very peaceful. It is ideal for couples or singles. Capercaillie Room has an ensuite with a large walk-in shower. Fitted wardrobes, TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, and an iPhone docking station to enable you to listen to your own music. - Red Squirrel — This is a spacious room with a bath with a shower ensuite. This room has a super king-size double bed or luxury twin beds. The quality mattress and deep mattress topper make it feel like you are "sleeping on a cloud". For families, there is space for an additional single bed for a child up to 12yo. The room is suitable for couples, singles & families. The ensuite has a bath with a shower. The room has fitted wardrobes and includes a TV, Blu-ray/DVD player and an iPhone docking station to enable you to listen to your own music. There is a silent fridge containing water & fresh milk for your refreshment tray.
