If you are looking for a unique campsite away from the hustle and bustle and 'busyness' of others then please do pay us a visit! I believe in offering spacious 'pick your own' pitches with not a tape measure in sight! You will be immersed in nature and will see brown hares, barn owls, marsh harriers, and wild flowers to name but a few. Many visitors also comment on the magic of the 'dark sky' ideal for star gazing. Please note we are a 'quiet site' and do not allow music on-site. In keeping with the surroundings, the wooden facilities shed offers 2 unisex flushing loos & sinks, 4 hot water showers, a private loo with sink, gents urinals & extra portable loos during peak times. Hot water washing-up area and local information board. It is possible to get 4G on site depending on your network. Because of the 'off-grid' location, we are unable to offer any electric hook up but we do supply phone/tablet charging facilities provided by the generator which runs daily for a few hours. We have firepits available on-site for your own private use at no extra charge and kiln-dried log nets for sale at £5/bag. Please remember to bring cash as we do not have card payment facilities...also put aside a few spare pennies for a bag of toasting marshmallows!

Please note we are a 'quiet site' and do not allow music on-site or noise after 9.30 p.m. In keeping with the surroundings, the wooden facilities shed offers 2 unisex flushing loos & sinks, 4 hot water showers, a private loo with sink, gents urinals & extra portable loos during peak times. Hot water washing-up area and local information board. It is possible to get WiFi/ 4G on site depending on your network. Because of the 'off-grid' location, we are unable to offer any electric hook but we do supply phone/tablet charging facilities provided by the silent generator which runs twice daily 7-10 am & 5.30-9 pm. We are currently working on replacing this with solar panels.....watch this space!
