Situated within the Ribble Valley, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, (AONB) this quiet site has extensive panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. There is abundance of wild life and birds, according to the season, with farm animals in the adjoining fields. Numerous public footpaths are close by, along with unlimited access to Harrop Common and Fell. The lovely villages of Slaidburn and Bolton by Bowland are within three miles. Each village has at least one pub, providing excellent food at reasonable prices. The Trough of Bowland, and the castles of Clitheroe and Skipton are all within a short drive away. The Settle to Carlisle railway is some twelve miles distant. There is a toilet, suitable for the disabled. A bathroom can be made available on request.
