Bushey Heath Farm | Bunk Barns and Campsite We offer high quality and affordable accommodation in bunk barns and on our summer private campsite. The Private Campsite enables visitors to book sole use for their family, friends or groups. Shut the gate and children can play safely. We encourage walkers, climbers, reunions, families, educational, spiritual and various other gatherings to enjoy the peaceful use of our site. We aim to develop the site in an environmentally sensitive way by including as many sustainable ideas and technologies as we find feasible. Presently we encourage recycling throughout the site, collect rainwater for WC flushing and have fitted a Ground Source Heat Pump to provide all the heating and hot water to the bunk barns. All our electrical power requirements are sourced from the Proven 6kw turbine that has been up and running since March 2007. Throughout the construction and renovation work recycled building materials and high levels of insulation have been used where possible. We hold art and craft centred workshops, especially drystone walling, hedge laying and other vocational based crafts. Mail us if you are looking to run a course and need a suitable site. Local schools use us as a centre to run various activities, from Duke of Edinburgh award groups to school Year 9 activities weeks. We offer a great flexibility of spaces, both indoor and outdoor, to enable a wide variety of training possibilities.
