Dane John Gardens At other points with time, the seeming that is calm John Gardens happens to be a thriving Roman Cemetery (much more calm?) and an 11th century motte and bailey castle (notably less peaceful!), if you've a mind to check involved with it beforehand there's a great amount of secret schooling to be delivered on the that could attract the smalls time. These days nonetheless it's an easy fairly modern room that is green a bandstand and a little adventure playground area packaging traditional gear suited to under 10s. There is room to picnic and enough for mild ball games, plus digital cameras and sketchpads at the prepared for those types of children because you can find exemplary views which are panoramic the city and beyond from the top of the mound. It really is close to the populous town it self, however it certainly does not feel it when you're in there! Much bonus to recommend this spot is simply that it is a literal stone's throw through the Canterbury Shopping Centre, when you really ('yes, really') need to shop as well as really ('yes, really!') have to come whether you wish to contemplate it a treat or a bribe, either way it's a handy option to compromise with the children.
