We are a traditional Craven farmstead run by 3 generations of the Coates family. The farm is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, equidistance between the historic Market Towns of Skipton and Settle. The topography of the farm is wholly made up of ‘drumlins,’ low round rolling hills, which are boulder and clay deposits left by the retreat of the last ice age. It is these formations which give the local area its character (and also builds character if you want to farm on them).
