Thistle is near the bottom of our site and the walk to the top is on an incline, nothing major but worth mentioning.

Our camping field is kept natural with long grass in between pitches with plenty of space for kids young and old to run about and play. Each pitch comes with its own fire ring, fire starting kits, logs and camping fuel are all available to buy from the country store on site.

​There are hot showers and composting loos as well as a hot water washing up station available. Drinking water is available at the washing up station as well as at various areas around the site.

Please note our camping field is on a slope, it is not extreme but it is worth mentioning.

​Bramble is a 5 metre cotton canvas bell tent.  It's furnished with a comfortable double bed to ensure a restful sleep and two single futon beds. Side tables, a dressing table, and two directors chairs are also included in our cosy retreat. 

You will have a private compost loo, hot shower (please bring your own towels), fire bowl with cooking and bbq attachments as well as a kitchen area with a camping stove.  All the equipment you need for cooking, eating and drinking is included to shorten your packing list.  We also have a picnic table available for your enjoyment.

All of this is in a secluded area of our 6 acre campsite.

There is a farm shop on site selling local produce, take away snacks, hot drinks and alcohol so you will be well catered for.  If you don't fancy cooking then Cranbrook's pubs, restaurants and cafes are a 20 minute walk away along a footpath.

Bramble is tucked away at the bottom of our site just beyond the camping field fortified by surrounding trees. There is a slope up to the entrance.

Operating out of Sissinghurst, one of the more picturesque corners of Kent, The Milk House is a village pub with four bedrooms being beautiful. Spacious and light, these were styled to feel relaxing and home-from-home, with comfortable beds, luxurious en suite bathrooms and scenic views associated with town and surrounding orchards.

a former century that is sixteenth household, with timber beams and a Tudor fireplace, the bar is popular with loyal locals, along side visitors from further afield, providing cask ales from Kentish breweries and a wide selection of wines that include offerings from the area\'s prominent vineyards.

The Milk House also prides it self on its meals providing a menu that changes using the seasons and uses only the freshest produce from neighborhood suppliers. The Milk House offers a variety of classic pub fare and a light Grazing Menu alongside a seasonal dining Menu. On there\'s a range of delicious roasts and there are nutritious choices for young ones too sunday.

Damson Field is great for families looking for a relaxing get away. Noise is kept down so visitors can connect back with nature making it a great place for couples to unwind. There is a lovely big area in the middle of the field has been cleared for children to play in and if you are lucky you may find one or two big hay bales to climb on!


Grass Pitch

Damson Field is a small, quiet, pop-up site with 20 well spaced pitches set in a 10 acre field and situated in the peace and quiet of the East Sussex countryside, overlooking Bodiam Castle and near the village of Ewhurst Green. There are clean portaloos (separate male/female) and a standpipe with fresh water. As the site is rustic and unspoilt there are no showers or waste disposal unit. The site is secure and fenced. Tents, campervans, motor homes only.

Roundoak is an Adults-only working farm that focuses largely on breeding of rare breed sheep including Hebridean, North Ronaldsays and the very rare Boreray sheep, we also keep rare breed cows, including Vaynols, White Parks, Irish Moiled and Highland Cattle. 

It is set in the heart of the Kentish countryside, south of the county town Maidstone, on the southerly slopes of the Greensand Ridge overlooking the beautiful weald of Kent. The mainly grassland farm now consists of approximately 180 acres including 5 acres of natural oak woodland at Sutton Valence and a further 50 acres at our sister farm, Kings Oak, which also has a commercial campsite, just a mile or so away in Ulcombe. We have also produced our own bed throws and wool.

Each tent faces outwards with views throughout the surrounding areas and woodland, ideal for a family group that is glamping in Kent. Visitors are always pleasantly surprised by the peacefulness of this setting. Youngsters are free to climb up and swing and play safely among the list of woods close to the tent. The older people might prefer to explore the farm while trying to overcome the Sunninglye Challenge, a farm path which combines fun with education and will occupy them for a couple that is great of. Sunninglye Farm\u2019s fields are typical lawn \u2013 including a wildflower that is seasonal \u2013 and you're frequently free to wander all over the farm. In the areas near your tent you'll play rounders, soccer or cricket.

Activities in the farm:

Only a little on that is further the private pond for messing about with our old ships. Additionally there is sunninglye\u2019s raft that is amazing activity, available on demand. Donkey & cart trips, kayaking, the Wildlife Challenge and pony care are only a number of the other activities to use during your stay. Horseback riding can be scheduled nearby also. Each tent features its own campfire that is specific where you are able to prepare or simply relax after the day\u2019s activities. You won\u2019t get hungry! Sunninglye offers a number of hampers, boxes, and packs of meals plus meats, meals, cheeses, bread, and cakes!

Explore the region:
The spa that is historic of Tunbridge Wells, renowned because of its shopping, is a few kilometers away. For the small children, get Ape Bedgebury Forest is simply 10 miles away. These options are just the beginning of the selection of tasks obtainable in and round the area.

   Surrounded by gorgeously green views over the Kent countryside and with no nippers to pierce the peaceful vibe… folk seeking a properly restful rural time have hit on a 'royally' fine spot at adults-only Kings Oak Farm with our rare breed cattle some of which come to us directly from the Queens estate in Balmoral.

This is a splendidly spacious site, part of a working farm that extends out over 80 acres with huge mown grass caravan pitches (a small number may require the odd levelling board for those who require spirit level accuracy). The site is accessed via a coded gate and surrounded by yet more farmland.
    Folk travelling here can be assured of our superb facilities with our newly installed shower and toilet unit as well as another separate toilet unit, we also have mains electricity hook ups on all our pitches and fresh water points on the pitches overlooking our beautiful fields and countryside, fresh water is also available from our communal and Motorhome fill points. A special area for Chemical toilet disposal (cassette type only – Not suitable as a Motorhome drop point) is also available. 
    Chemicals, tent pegs and many other products sold at our shop facilities from our Sister farm at Roundoaks (3.2 miles away) or available from our Campsite manager at either site to help you with the items you may have forgotten. Friendly, ********well-behaved dogs are welcome but they'll need to be **kept on a lead at all times**********; there’s also the chance to book a farm tour and then you can get to know some of the resident animals while you’re on site from our cute lambs, to the bigger residents 'The Captain' and 'The Prince of Balmoral' just two of our many bulls. **Please note:** this is a working farm and the residents will only see visitors by appointment **WITH one of our staff present** or they may get upset!

The creatures in question are the rare-breed cattle and sheep that graze in the surrounding fields; home-reared beef and lamb, plus local pork sausages, bacon and eggs can all be bought on site. Sounds like just the thing for a barbecue? Fine plan – grills are permitted as long as they’re kept off the ground and you can pre-book blocks for this from our Campsite manager anytime during your stay. Any other bits you need to finish your meal can be picked up at shops in Sutton Valence, Headcorn or Lenham (7miles), within approx a 10-minute drive (you might also like to consider sticking around for pub dinners or a cuppa in the cafés of the villages too).

Trying to find a spot that is stunning enjoy a day out in nature? Select from 3 hiking and 3 cycling tracks and find out the best bits of the Bedgebury that is 2000-acre woodland. While you are here, take a look at Bedgebury National Pinetum - this has over 12,000 woods and is a spot that is wonderful a picnic.
