Welcome - our Caravan site is open all year and is situated in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Bordering the edge of the woodland our quiet, open all year including holidays, adult only and pet friendly 10 pitch site is in the ideal location for a relaxing holiday. If you are more energetic it leads directly out into the forest where beautiful walks and cycle tracks are many and suit all abilities. The Touring Caravan & Motorhome site is also ideally situated for visits to the many attractions in the Forest of Dean, the Wye Valley and Welsh border including Puzzle Wood, Symonds Yat, Clearwell Caves, Norelands Steam Railway, Bird Watching, Fishing and much more. Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Monmouth & Chepstow are all within easy reach of the site. With beautiful views of the local area it is a perfect base for those looking for a relaxing time and for the more adventurous wishing to tour the Forest, Wye Valley and local attractions. We are a adult only site, no one under 18yrs.There is bird tables on site attracting many varied birds, with other wildlife around, due to being next to the woods. We do take dogs as long as they are controlled on site and exercised off site. The site is open all year round, it is a 10 pitch site, all with hard standing and electric hook up. A Freesat box can be hired for £1 a night wifi is FREE provided by Club Wifi. With direct access to the forest and woodlands there are many short and longer distance walks and cycle tracks available. Cycles can be hired from Parkend cycle centre or Pedalabikaway at Cannop. Canoe's can be hired from Wyedean canoe hire. Pony Trekking at Severnwye equestrian. There is many places to picnic and eat out and lots to visit and take part in. Try Puzzlewood where they filmed Merlin, Star wars and Huntsman. There is Clearwell Caves, Castles at Clearwell, St Braivels, Goodrich and Chepstow. A lovely drive through the Wye Valley will take you to Tintern, to the Old Station or Tintern Abbey. A ride on the Steam trains can be taken from Norchard or a trip to Mallards Pike and Go Ape for the energetic. This is not far from Soudley Ponds and The Dean Heritage Museum. For those who like a nice walk there is the Sculpture Trail at Speech House. There is local leisure centre's which have swimming pools and golf clubs and fishing in several places locally. We are ideally situated to visit Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow and the Wye Valley. There are two good local pubs where food and drink are available. Nearby Attractions Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, Taurus Crafts, Mary Rose Pottery, The Diving Centre at Chepstow, Chepstow Castle, Beechenhurst with the Sculpture Trail and Climbing wall. Mallards Pike and Go Ape, Soudley Ponds and The Dean Heritage Museum, The Dean Forest Railway based at Norchard. There are Castles at Clearwell, Chepstow, Goodrich and St Braivels.
