Inver Caravan Park

Dunbeath, Highland, Scotland

Inver Caravan Park is open and we will be keeping in place all the 'Covid-safe' procedures we had last year. In 2020 we brought in a number of new ways of operating the business to enable social distancing and keep all our customers, and us, safe from Covid-19. There are new notices regarding disposing of your rubbish and recyclables, and safety procedures for using the facilities block, which is fully open. It will be very helpful if you can read and follow the new procedures. The other main new procedure is with regard to registration. It is necessary for everyone who comes to have booked online (so that we have their contact details just in case there may have been someone with coronavirus here and we need to contact anyone who was also here at the same time) and paid for their stay remotely. If you have a motorhome, please book a hard standing. Campervans and caravans can go on a grass pitch if you prefer. Tents are welcome on the grass pitches, with or without electric according to your need. The only way to determine if there is availability for you for the night/nights you would like to stay is to see if it is bookable. It is not necessary or helpful to phone first. If there is space, you will be able to book it. If you cannot book it, it is because there is not a suitable pitch available for you. Inver Caravan Park is just north of Dunbeath. Turn off the A9 into the minor road signposted ‘Houstry 3’ then immediately left into the caravan park and choose a suitable pitch. Grass pitches are from one white marker to the next white marker, round the grassy area immediately on the right. They are numbered from 11 - 19. Hard standings are easy to see, numbered 1 to 10, and all pitches are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so if you want a choice, don’t arrive too late! We hope and expect that everyone will observe the now normal social distancing rules, to help keep everyone safe and well while on holiday. Welcome to Inver Caravan Park, Dunbeath, Caithness, which is considered to be 'beyond the highlands' The whole of Caithness is undulating and most of it is bounded by cliffs in between some beautiful sandy bays and beaches, with charming little harbours tucked in here and there. It's an excellent place to come with a motor home, caravan, campervan or tent.
