# Twitchen Farm Certificated Location Twitchen farm would like to welcome Caravan Club members back for the 2021 summer season. We will be open from 12th April 2021 in line with the most up to date government guidelines. We are a small family farm on the outskirts of Woolacombe, North Devon with an on site certified location that has been operational for over 50 years. We have 5 pitches available to members, each with access to an electric hookup and drinking water. Hard standing is available on 3 of our pitches on a first come first serve basis. We have on site bathroom facilities with coin operated Mira showers, maintained in line with Government guidelines. Our site is based on our small organic family farm, where we run a sustainably focused herd of Ruby Red Devons which are often found grazing here on the farm or on nearby National Trust land situated around Woolacombe and Croyde. We are situated just off the A361 via a short, single track lane with signposted entry straight to your pitch. Access to the campsite is via our shared access for the farmyard so we ask all our guests to please drive carefully and be mindful of any operations that may be carried out during your stay. We are approximately 3 miles from Woolacombe Bay, a world class surf break and family friendly beach offering a full lifeguard service, surf lessons, convenient parking and amenities along with beautiful scenic walking routes. We are positioned in a well accessible location, with a convenient bus stop at the end of our driveway. We are 5 minutes from the nearest major supermarkets with other convenience stores a short car or bus journey away. We have many eateries, including Michelin star restaurants, in the nearby towns of Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Braunton, with “The Depot eatery” a convenient 1 minute drive away (walking not advised). Nearby areas of interest include Woolacombe Bay, Croyde Bay, Ilfracombe, Exmoor National park, Arlington Court, Lynton and Lynmouth, Plus many more suited to both children and adults. We will happily recommend our family favourites for places to visit and eat during your stay, or you can find information in our on site visitor packs. We welcome friendly dogs, and ask that they are kept on leads when outdoors. We have restricted access to on site walking routes due to livestock, but are happy to advise you on nearby routes we are sure you will enjoy.
