# Severals Farm Certified Location

Our CL is on a 350 acre farm which is a working arable farm but run with wildlife and horses in mind. We have a family of four sons one of whom is eventing full time hence the equestrian facilities including a cross country course which is available for hire.

The CL site is located next to the horse dressage area in a quiet, small grass field enclosed by hedges. There are 5 hard standing pitches all with their own electric (16 amp) and water supplies. Pitches 1 and 2 are extra large and level and suitable for RV's and/or caravans. Each pitch is wide enough for your awning to be on the hard standing.

Adults, children and pets are all welcome (although please do not allow dogs to roam the woods as there are nesting birds). There is access to toilets in the Farm Buildings. All waste disposal and rubbish disposal is available in the corner of the site next to the recycling bin by the entrance to the field. It is sometimes possible to bring horses or ponies by prior arrangement.

We are in a very quiet area (designated as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty') just outside the village of Arkesden. We are half way between junctions 8 and 10 of the M11 (there is no junction off at 9!) very close to the market town of Saffron Walden and Audley End House. The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is 15 mins away. There are several public golf courses nearby and trout and coarse fishing available in the village.

The Axe and Compass pub in the village is extremely popular and very good, has been run by the same family for the last 20 years, and is a 10 minute walk from the farm. There are numerous other good pubs locally including a Thai pub in the next village. Booking is recommended for all of them particularly at weekends.
