Laurel Park Campsite is a secluded and sheltered caravan and camping site located on a quiet country lane in South-East Lincolnshire. The owners (a friendly family of 4 who took over the site in December 2018) have improved the facilities significantly, whilst ensuring Laurel Park remains a quiet and serene place to relax and unwind. With a wall of tall trees on all sides, the site is sheltered and secluded, whilst being in the open countryside. It is on the Fakenham to Hull leg of the National Cycle Network s route 1 a long distance cycle route connecting Dover and the Shetland Islands via the east coast of England and Scotland. Laurel Park is ideally located for exploring The Wash Coastal Nature Reserve, historic Kings Lynn, Spalding and surrounding areas. Fully grassed and surrounded by trees, it attracts plenty of wildlife including deer, owls, woodpeckers, sparrowhawks, wildfowl and a large variety of garden birds. Spend time relaxing on the pretty 3 acre site or visit the quaint local town of Long Sutton. Accommodation types
- Safari Tent — A large (5x4 metre) fully furnished touareg tent with external camping toilet (toilet shared with the guests of the other glamping tent). Accommodates a family of up to 4 people in 1 double and 2 single beds. The first 2 guests and 1 vehicle are included in the price, additional guests and vehicles can be added at our standard extra adult, child and vehicle rates. Pets are not allowed in our glamping tents. Minimum stay of 2 nights. Facilities include: sprung mattresses, chest of drawers, bedside table, mirror, electric hook-up, fairy lights, bedside light, chair, hanging rail, electric heater, kettle and 2 mugs. Outside there is a picnic bench and a covered area for storing any additional camping or cooking equipment or using as a covered food prep area. Please note that no bedding is included - you will need to bring your own. (Any images shown with bedding are for illustrative purposes).
- Electric Optional Grass Pitch — Our 8x5 metre grass pitches can accommodate motorhomes, campervans, caravans and tents. All pitches are flat, with optional electric hook-up available. Up to 6 guests can be accommodated on these pitches. If you have larger party requirements, please contact us. Price includes 1 vehicle and the first 2 guests. Electric hook-up, pets, and additional guests can be added as optional extras.
- Railway Goods Wagon — 100 year old renovated railway goods wagon / Shepherds hut, fully furnished to a high standard, with an external camping toilet (toilet shared with the guests of the other wagon). Accommodates a family of up to 4 people in 1 double day bed and 2 single bunk-beds. The first 2 guests and 1 vehicle are included in the price, additional guests and vehicles can be added at our standard extra adult, child and vehicle rates. Pets are not allowed in our wagons. Minimum stay of 2 nights. Facilities include: sprung mattresses, storage drawers / cupboards, mirror, electric hook-up, fairy lights, bedside light, chair(s), hanging rail / hooks, electric heater, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Outside there is a fire-pit, a BBQ (no coals included), a picnic bench and a covered area for storing any additional camping or cooking equipment or using as a covered food prep area. - Non-electric grass pitch large — Level grass pitch bordered by trees with views of the donkey paddock. One caravan, trailer tent, tent, motorhome or campervan plus awning permitted per pitch.
