Inspired by the surrounding landscape, The Crofter's Snug was born in 2016 offering a welcome break to travellers touring mainland Scotland's north east coastline. We all love travelling but it can be exhausting! Whether you're arriving by car, caravan or motorhome, we provide the perfect place to stop and take a breather for a couple of nights or make the most of the area and stay for a few days. We're located six miles west of John O'Groats, just a field or two away from the popular NC500 tourist route and ideally placed to explore this fabulous stretch of the Caithness coastline.
