Set in ten acres of very attractive mature parkland in the village of North Runcton near **Kings Lynn**, is the excellent **Kings Lynn Caravan and Camping Park**; a five star campsite boasting an enviable position in the lovely county of **Norfolk**. It is a lovely spot and ideal for exploring **Norfolk** and the **Fens** - both areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - and is also the closest campsite to the historic port and market town of Kings Lynn. The Park is very well laid out over three fields with ancient trees, shrubs and hedgerow providing a good amount of shelter. The spacious and well maintained pitches sit on level ground and can accommodate tents, vans, motorhomes and caravans. There is a choice of grass or hardstanding pitches and electric hook-ups are available. If you are looking for a **glamping** alternative, then you can hire out one of their **luxurious log pods**; perfect for those who love the great outdoors but prefer a few home comforts! The heated pods are well equipped with a double bed and sofa bed, TV, microwave, and kettle, so you only need to bring along pots, pans and bedding. The pods are set in their own area with nearby picnic benches and a BBQ for outdoor dining. In addition to the pods, there are several eco lodges (two or three bedroomed), which have their own bathroom and toilet, washing machine, TV, electric oven, fridge freezer - and pretty much everything else you would expect in self catering accommodation. They also have their own private decking area outside. The camping pitches and the pods share two excellent eco-friendly amenities blocks, which are kept spotlessly clean, are heated, and have very good disabled facilities, as well as a family room with baby changing. There is also a chemical disposal point, a washing-up area, drinking water points around the site and a laundry room. At reception there is a good shop for any essentials, plus loads of leaflets from the local tourist information about what’s on in the area, where to explore and what to see nearby. The campsite is just a stone’s throw from Norfolk's lovely north coast and the seaside towns of Hunstanton, Brancaster, Thornham and - further along the coast - **Wells-next-the-sea**. Just past Wells is **Blakeney Point Nature Reserve**, where you can see England’s largest grey seal colony; book one of the local ferry trips from **Morston Quay** to get closer to the seals in their natural environment, it’s quite a sight. For a day on the beach then you are spoilt for choice; Norfolk has some of the best beaches in England - including **Holkham** beach which was recently voted “Best Beach in the UK” in a survey of travel writers - as well as many nature reserves and RSPB reserves. Inland, there are numerous National Trust and English Heritage properties to explore, Sandringham, and quaint market towns like Burnham Market, Swaffham and Fakenham. **Kings Lynn Caravan and Camping Park** is an absolutely lovely campsite, with glamping and camping options to suit everyone and in the perfect location to explore all of Norfolk’s wonderful attractions.
