Penllechog

Penllechog is located on a working beef and sheep farm at the base of Gurn Ddu. The camp field itself is situated in a very well sheltered three acre field. It is surrounded by beautiful tall conifer trees. We have five pitches, each with a campfire. There are two hot showers, two eco toilets and a washing up area. Our water comes from natural springs that are located at various points at the foot of Gurn Ddu. We are too high up for a mains water supply. Although we are high up and a good mile from the nearest village, you will be surprised at how central a location Penllechog is. Minutes drive from Trevor beach, 15 minutes from Nefyn and its two spectacular beaches and twenty minutes drive from the beautiful village of Abersoch. On the way to Abersoch you will drive through the seaside town of Pwllheli. Travel to the north and within 15 miles you will find Caernarfon and its amazing castle. A little bit further and you will reach Snowdonia. In our local village of Llanaelhaearn, there is an award winning bakery that bakes bread, cakes and savories daily.
