We are a little different here at Naturesbase, surrounded in total by 9 acres of flower rich meadows, farmland and woodland, with buzzards and kites overhead, a meandering stream and hedgerows ablaze with wildlife. This is a truly natural Welsh haven for you to experience nestled between the Cambrian mountains and Cardigan Bay. We exceed in nurturing wellbeing through nature and wilderness. Come and relax in the undisturbed beauty of Naturesbase with the mountain landscapes and coastal views close by. During the summer holidays we offer 10 camping pitches or our creatively designed Ty Coed family lodges. At all other times of year you can book our large lodge exclusively for family gatherings, celebrations and reunions. We genuinely enjoy sharing the uniqueness of Naturesbase with others, providing a quality experience for all our visitors where adults can relax and enjoy the open countryside whilst children enjoy the rugged excitement nature has to offer. With stunning dark skies this is where evenings are all about stories, conversation, star gazing, fires and the odd glass of wine. - Copse Lodge — Copse sleeps 16, ideal for a large family or 2 families, with two double bedrooms, two bedrooms rooms both with three bunk beds in, 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen/dining/sitting room with a private deck and picnic table for alfresco dining overlooking the flower rich meadows and farmland surrounded by native trees and the fields.
- Forest Lodge & Woodland Lodge — The beautiful Ty Coed (woodland style) lodges, combining the simplicity of quality ecological design, natural materials and timeless ethos. With a distinct sense of place they are designed to maintain engagement with the ‘natural world’ ethos of naturesbase by locating dining and kitchen areas on the outside veranda sheltered underneath a turf roof. Inside is all about comfort. You’ll find timber floor boards, beautiful bathrooms and hand made beds with fluffy duvets, soft pillows but with the living space spilling out onto the veranda and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has 2 gas hobs, small fridge, sink and the luxury of hot and cold running water and large dining area. Forest and Woodland both sleep 6, one double room and one room with 2 hand made bunk beds, a bathroom, sitting room and alfresco kitchen dining area under cover on the deck over looking the courtyard.
- NaturesBase Camping Pitch — Come and enjoy a quality uncrowded family campsite with ten pitches divided between two large fields allowing ample space between tents. Each pitch is freshly mown and is divided by meadow flowers and sheltered with willows, rowan and hazel trees. Fire pits are dug on each pitch providing opportunities for evening fires. Bring your own tent or if you are new to camping or want a different experience you can stay in one of our lovely fully furnished safari tents. Beyond the immediate camping fields are two further fields for ball games, frisbee and family rounders. The stream and woodland beyond allow opportunities for letting the dog and children run free and play wild building camps and making dams. A core feature is the promotion of environmentally responsible tourism which we strive to incorporate into all aspects of how we manage the site. We only have two pitches suitable for trailer tents, so please contact us if you’re planning to bring one. Small trailers can be pushed to most pitches, but please let us know you are bringing one.
- Shepherd's Hut — We have a beautiful shepherds hut which provides that added bit of luxury compared to traditional camping. The individually designed hut is luxurious and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. Inside there is a double bunk bed, fluffy duvets, deep mattresses and wonderful feather pillows. The hut can be arranged to accommodate 2 adults or 2 adults and two children. There is also a wood burning stove, spacious seating / dining area and storage. Outside yet under cover is the shower and compost toilet, a large undercover seating area with picnic table, and the bespoke spacious alfresco kitchen adjacent to the hut providing ample sheltered space to cook and dine yet surrounded by nature. There are additional fold out chairs a fire pit. The perfect place to relax and soak up the delights of luxury camping. Additional toilets and showers are just a short walk away open during the summer months.
