Congleton Museum tells the fascinating story of this area from prehistoric times, through the English Civil War, plus the heyday associated with textile industry to the World that is second War. The collections span over 4,000 years, with details about prehistory collected through archaeology, a number of displays that chronicle the English civil war, plus an exploration in to the effect associated with the Industrial Revolution on the area that is local.
