Dogs are welcome, but obviously we ask they are kept on leads and please clean up after them. You are welcome to bring a BBQ providing it is kept 18 inches off the grass.

Our campsite offers guests a tranquil space with its open grass area surrounded by the orchard. The pitches have been designed to accommodate caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. The tree’s positions naturally mark out our pitches and can provide welcome shade in the summer. Options for both grass and hardstanding pitches are available, all with EHU and clean facilities.

This luxury pod is made for 2 adults and comes with a kitchenette, combi microwave, fridge, kettle, Coffee maker and toaster.

A Full-size double bed ensures a good night sleep. You have table and chairs, a comfortable sofa, TV, rural Wi-Fi and convection wall heating. The en-suite has a toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail, there is access to a coin operated shower in our toilet block.

Outside you have a good-sized decking area with Rattan furniture, ambient lighting and a BBQ so you can relax and enjoy some outdoor living.

Deluxe Pod

These three Luxury Glamping pods are hand built to our own layout and design. They are larger than normal and fitted with a full en-suit with shower, a kitchenette with Belfast sink, two ring hob, fridge, kettle, coffee maker and toaster.

A comfortable full-size double bed ensures a good night sleep while the bed settee easily pulls out to sleep 2 young children up to 12 years. Inside there is a table and chairs, TV, rural Wi-Fi and underfloor heating.

Outside, each pod has a good size private decking area, ambient lighting, Rattan Dinning set and a BBQ to enjoy alfresco dining.

You will be provided with a beautifully spacious yurt with a sumptuous four-poster bed, cosy wood burner a fully equipped kitchen, your own private toilet and shower room, outside fire pit, BBQ and seating and free on site parking close to your accommodation. LED 12 volt lighting is provided throughout and sockets for mobile phone and tablet charging etc. .​Our compost toilets are of the highest standard. They are spotlessly clean and pleasant to use.

​You will have your own designated toilet whilst at Banbury Meadow, so will not have to share with other guests, other than your own party members.

The shower has been built to provide you with instant on-demand hot water and is available for use 24 hours a day.

An impressively large church with a stonking great tower on top of a very steep hill, All Saints looks down over the pretty Somerset village of Langport. Built mainly in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, it overlooks the remains of a Benedictine abbey. The church’s bold, pinnacled west tower, covered with gargoyles known locally as ‘Hunky Punks’, is a local landmark. However, its most special treasure is its east window, containing the largest collection of medieval stained glass in Somerset. The saints are shown in gloriously coloured robes with both animated and serene expressions.

Our 7-acre camping field can accommodate Tents, Caravans, and Camper Vans. We provide drinking water and composting toilets. There are NO set pitches, showers or electricity. THIS IS REAL CAMPING. Come and enjoy the stunning views, a campfire and a digital detox.
We aim to provide an authentic camping experience. (logs and kindling kits sold on site).
All water taps on site are drinking water, please try to avoid bringing water in plastic bottles

Idyllic positions overlooking the confluence of the rivers Cripps and Brue. There are 6 hard standing pitches which are all fully serviced. 4 along the riverside and 2  just behind the riverside pitches. Probably some of the best riverside pitches for caravanning in Somerset.
Once you become a regular at Cripps Farm you will receive a 10% discount on every booking made on the touring site.
Minimum of two nights to be booked and Three-nights on a bank holiday weekend.
Occupancy shall be from 12 pm on the day of arrival to 11 am on the day of departure unless agreed otherwise.
Extra charges- Fishing lakes £5 a day or £3 for half a day, showers at 50p via the meter, Wi-fi and laundry facilities.
Store and stay – no more towing, let us site your caravan on your chosen pitch ready for your arrival and place your caravan back into storage, once your holiday has ended.

Dogs
Quiet dogs are welcome accompanied by responsible owners by prior agreement. You must ensure that the dog(s) are always kept on a lead. All fouling must be collected and disposed of using the bags and bins provided. Don’t leave your dogs’ alone in the caravans for long periods of time.  All fouling is to be cleared up before departure.

Cripps Farm Holidays

If you are looking for something spacious then our Touareg Tents are the perfect way to enjoy camping out and getting back to nature with ease and style.

Based on traditional nomadic desert tents, the Touareg is similar in design to a bell tent but with a distinct rectangular shape and two doors, providing lots of usable space and making this the ideal choice for bigger families. 

There is a full sized double bed and up to three singles in each tent. All units have bed linen; towels; fire pit and grill; firewood and charcoal; cool box with freezer blocks; LED lighting and crockery and cutlery are provided in the glamping kitchen for shared use, as are a range of pots and pans. Travel cots also fit in all spaces.

Our Tipis are beautiful structures manufactured in a traditional way in America. They are a spacious 18ft in diameter with a lining and rain catcher to ensure you stay dry inside, whatever the weather. Tipis were designed as structures for nomadic people, easy to take up and down when required, built with a conical design over round poles with a separate skin – traditionally buffalo hide but, in modern times, canvas. They make for an atmospheric and cosy home.

Tipi’s come fully furnished with a double and two single beds. Bedding and towels are provided along with fire pit, fire-making and BBQ kit, LED lighting, rugs, low table, cool box and more.

Travel cots fit in all spaces.

There is something rather magical about a yurt. These circular canvas structures have a lattice wall and conical roof. Originally used by nomadic peoples they provide wonderful accommodation and a little more luxury than your standard tent.

Our classic yurts are cosy and comfortable for couples, friends or small families and have plenty of space for an extra toddler providing you bring them somewhere to sleep. Each yurt has a double bed in it along with furnishings, bedding, towels, LED lighting, cool box and other equipment as below.

Field 725 Eco Camping and Glamping

With views over Somerset The Boreal Belle is colourful and cosy, with rugs, throws, cushions and a king-size bed with luxury bedding. There are drawers to store your clothes, a sofa to relax on and a table and chairs for indoor dining, all finished with those extra luxury touches and of course bunting and fairy lights.

The sofa can become a bed and bedding provided for separate sleeping arrangements or for an extra person when notified in advance.

The tents are equipped with Crockery, Cutlery, pans etc along with a large cool box to keep your Prosecco cold on the warm evenings. There is an ordnance survey map of the local area, information books and a pair of mini binoculars to help you enjoy your stay. Tea, coffee etc are provided in Cheats Kitchen where you will find the electric kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and extra charging points for phones etc.

Outdoor games are also available in case you would like to enjoy a game of croquet or maybe quoits?

Your first basket of logs/kindling/firelighters and a pack of charcoal are provided with extras available in the honesty shop. Complimentary water from Cheddar Springs and Honey from our bee hives at Owley can also be found here.

Equipped with almost everything you need, just bring clothes, towels, provisions and a torch for stress free camping!

Our tents are off grid, so we provide a solar portable power pack with USB sockets for phone charging (just in case you want to stay in touch with the outside world!), and solar lights for those darker evenings.

Lotus Belle Tents really are the top of the range tents made from heavy duty weatherproof canvas. With plenty of room to move around and stand up, it really doesn’t feel like you’re camping! They have a roomy porch area which further extends the living area and is ideal for outdoor clothes, muddy boots etc, there is space for all your needs, and then topped with a leafy green cover to protect the bats and wildlife from any light spill.

Outside of your tent, you have a seating area with comfy chairs and table and wood fired stove to boil a kettle or cook breakfast on. To keep you warm and cosy on the cooler summer evening, each tent has a fire pit with additional available hanging grill if you really want to explore your culinary skills.

Our onsite facilities were brand new in 2021 and we love our heated wood clad amenity block which has two bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers with a separate undercover washing up sink.

We are open from March - October and have a two night minimum stay (you will wish you stayed longer!)

Owley Woods is a quiet site with a 'no noise' policy after 11pm to preserve the peace and tranquillity of the area

The Boreal Belle 

With far reaching views over Somerset The Bubo Belle is colourful and cosy, with rugs, throws, cushions and a king-size bed with luxury bedding. Lotus Belle Tents really are the top of the range tents made from heavy duty weatherproof canvas. With plenty of room to move around and stand up, it really doesn’t feel like you’re camping! They have a roomy porch area which further extends the living area and is ideal for outdoor clothes, muddy boots etc, there is space for all your needs, and then topped with a leafy green cover to protect the bats and wildlife from any light spill.

Outside of your tent, you have a seating area with comfy chairs and table and wood fired stove to boil a kettle or cook breakfast on. To keep you warm and cosy on the cooler summer evening, each tent has a fire pit with additional available hanging grill if you really want to explore your culinary skills.

Our onsite facilities were brand new in 2021 and we love our heated wood clad amenity block which has two bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers with a separate undercover washing up sink.

We are open from March - October and have a two night minimum stay (you will wish you stayed longer!)

The Bubo Belle 

With views over the woodland The Tawny Belle is colourful and cosy, with rugs, throws, cushions and a king-size bed with luxury bedding. There are drawers to store your clothes, a sofa to relax on and a table and chairs for indoor dining, all finished with those extra luxury touches and of course bunting and fairy lights.

The sofa can become a bed and bedding provided for separate sleeping arrangements or for an extra person when notified in advance.

The tents are equipped with Crockery, Cutlery, pans etc along with a large cool box to keep your Prosecco cold on the warm evenings. There is an ordnance survey map of the local area, information books and a pair of mini binoculars to help you enjoy your stay. Tea, coffee etc are provided in Cheats Kitchen where you will find the electric kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and extra charging points for phones etc.

Outdoor games are also available in case you would like to enjoy a game of croquet or maybe quoits?

Your first basket of logs/kindling/firelighters and a pack of charcoal are provided with extras available in the honesty shop. Complimentary water from Cheddar Springs and Honey from our bee hives at Owley can also be found here.

Equipped with almost everything you need, just bring clothes, towels, provisions and a torch for stress free glamping!

Set on the edge of the pretty village of Butleigh and surrounded by stunning countryside is our hideaway luxury glamping and campsite - Orchard Farm Campsite. 
Our charming site manages to feel both intimate and spacious. In a private section at the centre of our six-acre Orchard are four Luxury Glamping Pods. While in another nearly flat section with a toilet and shower block, is an area allocated for up to 10 Caravans, Motorhomes and Campervans.
