Larkwood lakes is a new venture for us and a dream come true. We have been looking for a site similar to the lakes for many years, then out of the blue it appeared just 5 miles from our home of 20 years in Bury St Edmunds. As environmentalists and conservationists we hope to run the campsite in a manner considerate with the thriving flora and fauna found both below and above the water of the streams and lakes. We look forward to welcoming anyone with a love of nature or simply a desire to embrace the quiet and beauty of a special site in Suffolk. My name is Tony and I spent several years as a professional Marine Biologist and although the water here is not salty, the thought of exploring the lakes is very exciting and I relish the idea that visitors will contribute their own thoughts and experiences about the local environment. Kim is a professional artist and illustrator with a thriving studio / gallery in Bury St Edmunds. She specialises in watercolour paintings of local buildings and you will find many of her images on products which are for sale on-site. We look forward to welcoming you at the lakes soon Tony & Kim
