Little Harford is a tranquil place for anyone wanting to find peace and quiet. A winding path in the Lower Woodland leads down to a water meadow where you’ll find a meandering river. Surrounded by farmland, narrow lanes, tall hedgerows, and rolling hills, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We currently offer B&B guest accommodation and woodland camping.

- 2 Person Pod — The Little Harford woodland pod is a cosy glamping retreat deep in the woodland, featuring a woodburner and fairy lights for a rustic, comfortable stay. Provided amenities include bedding, crockery, basic cooking pots and utensils, a camping gas ring, a firepit, and a small portable power station. Guests must bring their own provisions. The off-grid setup ensures no Wi-Fi or phone signal, allowing for a peaceful escape. The campsite is equipped with compost toilets, an off-grid gas shower, and a washing-up area. This setup offers a unique opportunity to disconnect and enjoy nature.
- En Suite Room — This spacious en-suite guest room at Little Harford is perfect for singles or couples. It features a king-size bed, a pullout single futon, a private bathroom, and its own staircase for added privacy. You’ll also have a dedicated desk space, plus a fridge, toaster, and kettle for light refreshments. Relax in your private sitting room, complete with books, board games, DVDs, and a smart TV — your own cosy retreat. retreat is a former artists’ home, so the house reflects their artistic interests. - Wild Camping (up to 6 people) — A winding path leads down to where the land levels out at the water meadow area of the woodland. A family of buzzards live in the valley and you can often hear owls, pheasants and wild birds. There is parking at the entrance to the lower woodland on hard standing. A couple of compost toilets are available for all No.2’s and mindful wild peeing is encouraged. Tapped water is available from an outside tap at the property for drinking water and there is a new gas fired shower as well as washing up area. Campfires are allowed and seasoned wood can be purchased at a small extra cost. We only offer a very limited number of camping spots at any time to preserve the tranquility for everyone. There is room for a couple of Campervans to park on the hard standing.
- Campervan Pitch Hardstanding — The campervan pitch at Little Harford campsite is located at the top of the woodland, on a hardstanding area. Vehicles, including those for tents, park here as the paths to the main campground are too narrow for vehicles, ensuring a peaceful, almost wild camping experience. The campsite is off-grid, with no wifi or phone signal, offering a true escape into nature. Facilities include compost toilets and a newly built off-grid gas-fired shower.
