The campsite is a stones throw from the machair, Seal Bay and golden beaches. The campsite is situated on a prime location on the west side of Barra, two and a half miles from Castlebay. Castlebay is the port for the Oban ferry and has all the facilities you would expect; shops, library, sports centre, hotels, cafes, bank and post office. Borve Camping and Caravan Site has excellent facilities including:- ♦ showers ♦ toilets ♦ kitchen ♦ laundry ♦ plus WiFi All facilities have disabled access and are included in the pitch fees. The site is open all year. The site is suitable for and welcomes every age group. School groups are welcome but prior booking is essential. Pets are welcome. English and Gaelic are spoken on site.
