The Pannett room is a well appointed superior en-suite four poster room, on the first floor, with a comfortable sitting area from which to watch the world go by. The large Georgian style window overlooks Pannett Park, after which the room is named, with a glimpse of Whitby Abbey and St Mary’s Church in the background.

Pannett Room

Classic Single Room

Named after a family of Whitby’s great sailing pioneers, this comfortable single room is on the 2nd floor and has an excellent view of Whitby Abbey and St Mary’s Church, as well as Bagdale and Pannett Park. There is a 3/4 sized bed and an en-suite modular shower room.

The room has a flat screen TV, hair dryer, hospitality tray, and complimentary WiFi.

StokerBram Stoker, author of the famous 19th century novel Dracula, was famously inspired by his visits to St Mary’s church, which features in his story and can be seen from our Stoker room, along with Whitby Abbey.

The Freeman Room is a family room which can sleep up to 3 people. It is devoted to the R.N.L.I. and to Henry Freeman, Whitby’s most famous lifeboat hero. With a King size bed plus single bed this en-suite room can double as a family room or a convenient ground floor twin room.
