# Romney Meadows Caravan and Camping Park

> Based in the middle of green farmers fields, near beautiful beaches and nature reserves, Romney Meadows Caravan Park offers an ideal getaway to one of Kent's best kept secrets, whether you want to caravan, motorhome or camp. We're located just outside the seaside town of New Romney in the South East corner of Kent; a unique stretch of land which literally grew from the sea over thousands of years; an important port in Roman times, that become a smuggler's marshland in the 18th Century, a military defence against Napoleon, and today; miles of open fields, golf courses, little known sandy beaches and unique nature reserves. Romney Meadows is all about finding some calm in this quiet corner of the country; enjoying a walk, cycling, sitting on the beach or playing a round of golf, and if you do want some excitement, there's always the watersports centres which are just a short drive through the countryside.
