Inside, the church is light and spacious. There is a 500-year-old timber door that still swings on its ancient hinges – even though it now leads to a blocked north doorway! Another quirky feature is the nineteenth-century vestry – its walls are lined from top to bottom with thousands of cockle shells – the emblem of St James. The monuments in the church walls and floor are a fascinating record of those who once lived here.

 We hope we've thought of everything you'll need for a relaxing and refreshing short break and have provided everything we think is an essential plus some luxuries and also a range of extras that you might want.

Everything we do is designed to have as small an impact on the local environment as possible and we’ll try and encourage our visitors to share this ethos and leave only footprints and take only memories.

Outside you've all your own private 'glamping' facilities, from the compost loo and shower room to the safari kitchen as well as a barbeque and a firepit.

**What's Included**

 Just bring yourself as we're providing all your bedding and towels, plus all the necessities for your stay. This includes your crockery and cutlery, plenty of free firewood for the fire pit. The safari kitchen has a two ring gas hob, a cool box to keep your food in as well as essential salt, pepper and oil - and of course a bottle opener!

We've also put some games, books and a pack of cards in the Living Van in case you get bored of idling by the river.

Whilst this is camping - we want it to be the most relaxing camping you'll ever experience.

Five hard standing pitches including an awning, all supplied with electric hook-up 10amp only. A wonderful haven of peace and tranquillity for a leisurely break, enjoy brisk evenings in our campers lounge known as our summer kitchen, a place to sit in comfort with a wood-burning stove. Certain amenities provided such as access to TV channels and Wifi. Also have Laundry facilities, Washing machine and tumble dryer at a cost of £5. On site fittings and repairs available in our workshop. 

One pitch includes two Adults and two children under the age of 16.
No tents allowed. 

Hardstanding Pitches for Caravan and Motorhomes 

Dogs are welcome Free of Charge, please make sure they are on a lead while on-site, there are great dog walks from our site, either along the estuary or the fields behind us.

Nestled in our meadow in Sevenoaks Weald, Kent, we're a small and remote glamping site boasting 3 luxury 6m bell tents. Each one is fully kitted out with everything you'll need for a relaxed stay, including a comfy double bed, cosy throws, fire pits, plenty of inside space and more. Just bring yourselves and some food!

Established on former farmland, the Colts Hill Glamping site overlooks quiet fishing lakes and is surrounded by mature woodlands vibrant with wildlife and birdsong.
We are committed to making your stay as restful as possible and will provide you with all that you need for a relaxing and memorable visit including firepits and **Hot Tub** (**Not available until September**).

Colts Hill Glamping can also arrange for your fridge and larder to be stocked before your arrival (including barbeque packs and afternoon teas).
We work with trusted local suppliers to ensure that our guests enjoy only the best quality produce. Maximum of two adults and two children allowed per booking.

Fishing at Tricklebrook Lakes:
Four of our pods are adjacent to Tricklebrook’s Specimen Pond. Guests wishing to book to fish the Specimen Pond should confirm when booking. A discounted fee of £25 per day (usually £30 per day) should then be paid directly to Tricklebrook Fisheries upon arrival (cash payments only).
Guests are welcome to fish for free on the Tricklebrook match lake

Set in 12 acres of woodland, the Inn regarding the Lake Hotel offers an amiable and comfortable stay in a modern, family run establishment.

The Channel Ports plus the Medway towns, as well as the M2, M20 and M25 motorways, the stunning views over the two lakes are surprisingly tranquil and relaxing, with many of our rooms having immediate access to the lakes with exceptional transport links to London.
