Glan Y Gro is situated in a unique, lakeside location less than 5 minutes from the town of Bala. You get the peace and quiet tranquility of the beautiful Snowdonia countryside with the convenience of local ameneties. Glan Y Gro offers four Lakeside Suites (self-catering) each with their own kitchenette, en-suite and access to the lakeside balconies. You'll find more details and photos on our Suites page. From Jan 2015 until Nov 2017, Glan Y Gro operated as a Bed & Breakfast providing accommodation in Bala. We accomplished a lot in that time, rising to the top rated B&B in Bala (according to TripAdvisor) and accommodating over 2000 guests. Glan Y Gro closed for extensive renovation work in November 2017, converting 7 en-suite bedrooms into 4, luxury, self-catered suites.
